Chris Lebron releases his production "In honor of the one who loves"
Singer and songwriter Chris Lebron reflects his musical evolution in his new album “ In Honor of the One Who Loves ” while maintaining the essence of romantic urban music .
The artist recently presented his album at a listening session held at the Embassy Suites with the presence of urban singer Arcángel , his musical godfather, representatives of the Rimas record label, as well as figures from the music and entertainment world.
The singer of “Desde mis ojos” was accompanied by his family, who were in the front row, and broke down in tears when talking about the support he received.
“Many of those who are close to me know that it has been a really long process ,” he confessed emotionally, remembering those who urged him not to become disillusioned with his dream of being an artist because the moment “was going to come.”
“' In honor of the one who loves ' is a tribute to love itself,” he said of the album .
Since she rose to fame with the hit “Desde mis ojos” she has received the support of Arcángel , who was reacting and singing the songs from the front row with a sign of approval.
- “When I spoke to him for the first time, we spent three hours talking and I said to myself: 'I can't believe I've been talking to someone for so long that I don't even know, that he doesn't even know me,' and from that day on I began to see him in a different way, not only as an artist, but as the great human being that he is,” he acknowledged.
And he said that this has allowed him to have a very different workflow than what is seen in other places. “I hope to God that this is one of the many years working together,” he said in the conversation held with Nashla Bogaert, host of the event.
“Bandido”, “Préstame”, “Contacto de Dios” and “Cuando suene la disco” , ft. Natti Natasha, are some of the compositions included in this musical production that brought together great exponents of the urban genre, as well as performers of Christian music.
Composed of 17 songs, this project has represented a journey of discovery for the artist, who expressed that “each song is a letter that carries love in different ways and to different destinations.”
The debut album includes the video for “Bandido” , recorded in the Botanical Garden of Santo Domingo, where she pretends to get married, but in the middle of the wedding the relationship breaks up.
Musically, it stands out that in this album Chris Lebrón expands his horizons by exploring genres such as pop, ballads, Afrobeat and reggaeton, consolidating his versatility and commitment to the evolution of the urban pop genre, accompanied by Cosculluela, Arcángel , Farruko, Justin Quiles, Natti Natasha, Manuel Turizo, El Alfa, Sech, Jay Wheeler, and figures from the Christian sphere such as Redimi2, Rubinsky, Natan el Profeta and El Philippe.
“ In honor of the one who loves ” was produced by Dominican talents Jh Beats, Crivas and Dehry.
The singer of “Mesero” is working steadily on his internationalization.

“I feel that I put all my desire to represent the urban genre of my country in the healthiest way possible into this album ,” said Lebrón during the launch of this production, and he hopes that his music will leave a mark on the hearts of his audience.
At the launch event, he was awarded several certifications for the sales of his singles. He obtained a Gold Record for his EP “Versos de un torneo” with 300 million streams on digital platforms; and Multi Platinum x6 for the 350 million streams on digital platforms with “Desde mis ojos remix”.
He has 200 million streams on digital platforms for “Siri” with Romeo Santos; and a Gold Record with “Mesero”, “Loco” (with Arcángel ), “Estrella fugaz” (with La Ross María) and “La jaula perfecta”.
Her new album , “ In honor of the one who loves ”, is now available on all digital platforms .
